Teachers Why teach rail safety? Whole school approach

Whole school approach

TrackSAFE Education is based on a whole school approach, in line with the World Health Organisation’s Health Promoting Schools Framework, which encourages health related issues (including injury prevention) to be addressed through:

  • curriculum based teaching and learning,
  • the school’s ethos and environment, and
  • parents and community

which all work together as part of the solution to improve safety around trains and tracks.
